Holcon believes in the philosophy of Cradle to Cradle and therefore comes up to those standards, by making sure all concrete elements are reusable.
The hull is mounted by means of structural steel connections. No more mortar is used. This makes disassembly and reuse interesting. Nearly no construction waste is created, and dismantling costs remain limited.
Holcon has certifications of Sustainability and Environment, such as ISO 14001 and CSC Silver. We are constantly looking for improvements in our production process to make our ecological footprint as small as possible. For example, we transport some of our products by ship and we can use concrete rubble granulate in our mixture.
